Intermediate Training
Go deeper. Apply NIST frameworks, work through RMF step-by-step, and build hands-on compliance skills for federal and healthcare environments.
Intermediate Training — Building Practical Cybersecurity Skills
You have the foundation. Now it is time to build real skill.
The Intermediate Training program at Thoth Info-Tech Academy bridges the gap between foundational knowledge and professional-level cybersecurity practice. Over 12 weeks, you will go beyond concepts and into application — working through the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, the Risk Management Framework, and the compliance systems that govern federal, healthcare, and enterprise security environments.
This program is where theory becomes capability. Through immersive lab scenarios, case studies drawn from real federal environments, and hands-on documentation exercises, you will develop the practical skills that employers are actively hiring for. You will also begin formal alignment with the CGRC (Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance) certification — one of the most in-demand credentials in the federal cybersecurity market.
By the end of this program, you will be able to assess systems for risk, contribute to compliance documentation, understand the ATO process, and operate effectively inside a federal or healthcare security team.
Who This Program Is For:
- Graduates of Thoth Foundational Courses (Program 1)
- IT professionals with 1–2 years of experience looking to specialize
- Federal employees seeking to understand RMF and FISMA compliance
- Anyone targeting roles in GRC, compliance, or federal cybersecurity
What You Will Walk Away With:
- Hands-on understanding of NIST CSF 2.0 and RMF
- Ability to contribute to SSP and POA&M development
- Understanding of the full ATO lifecycle
- Certification alignment: CGRC (CAP)
- Certificate of completion from Thoth Info-Tech Academy
